MAESAI

     Maesai is one of eihgteen district [Ampher] in Chiangrai about 61 km. from the province city on Highway No. 110 Maesai is the northern-most of Thailand. Maesai borders on Myanmar's Tha Khi Lek marked by the Maesai River with a bridge spanning both sides. Foreigner visitors are allowed to cross over to the Tha Khi Lek market by presenting their passports and paying a fee ah he Maesai immigration checkpoint.
