MAE FAH LUANG ART AND CULTURAL PARK

     Is located one kilomatre from the Oub Kham Museum. There are important architectural buildings. Ho Kham is a teak building where ancient wood-carved canlke holders are exhibited, and Pra Prato, an ancient wooden buddha image of the Lanna period is housed, Ho Kham Noi keeps the so-called Wiang Ta mural paintings from Wat Pa Wiangta in Phrae. Many plants found in the park area are of fragrant varieties and rare species. There is also a bronze statue of HRH the King's Mother sculptured for a temporary display of artworks and other functions. Initially, the park was used for Wai Sa Mae Fah Luang, a ceremont to pay homage to HRH the King's Mother. The park is open daily from 08.30 a.m.-05.30 p.m. Admission is 200 Baht.
